For racers looking for added bumper security, aluminum support kits have traditionally been one of the available solutions. They can do the job, but they also add metal and weight to an area of the kart where neither is necessarily needed.

Purpose-Built From Nylon
Rather than simply recreating a traditional bumper support in aluminum, the REV Bumper Support Kit is manufactured from durable nylon to take advantage of the material's unique characteristics.
Nylon provides an excellent combination of strength, flexibility and impact resistance while remaining significantly lighter than aluminum. Its natural flexibility also allows the support to absorb and accommodate bumps and impacts rather than behaving like a completely rigid metal component.
The result is a bumper support that is strong where it needs to be, but still has some forgiveness when things get physical on track.
