Overview

Adjusting the track width of the rear wheel hubs on a racing kart can significantly affect the handling. Depending on the width of the rear axle, most karts are designed to accommodate significant hub overhang off of the edge of the axle. However, the further the hub hangs over the edge of the axle, the more likely it is to come loose and slip inward, or outward, due to the torque and force applied to the hub that now has less internal support from the axle.

Made from hardened aluminum alloy, the hub width shims within this kit by REV helps to solve this issue. Furthermore, by utilizing matched pairs that are color-coded adjusting rear track width becomes very simple! This makes trackside changes a snap - no more measuring with a tape measure.
