Inferno Clutch Springs
Inferno Clutch Springs are crucial for fine-tuning your Hilliard Inferno Flame and Fire Clutches to achieve the ideal engagement point for your racing needs. Available in various colors, each representing a different stiffness level and RPM engagement point:
- Green: 1200 RPM
- Red: 1400 RPM
- Orange: 1800 RPM
- Yellow: 2000 RPM
- White: 2300 RPM
- Black: 3000 RPM
To ensure optimal performance, it's recommended to replace your springs before every major race, as they can wear with use. During testing, you can experiment with different combinations to find the best setup. A common approach is to use either four springs of one color or a mix of two colors, such as 2 black and 2 white, to achieve the desired engagement.
Clutch springs can be mixed to further customize your setup. For example, combining two white springs with two black springs is an option. Each spring is sold individually, and each Hilliard Inferno clutch requires four springs.
